Managing Your Career.
Take charge of your career inside your own organization. Participants identify what drives them, what sets them apart, and how to have the career conversation.
- For
- Individual contributors and line managers who want to chart their career path, and organizations that want to reduce turnover by helping people build careers in-house.
- Format
- Half a day. In person or live virtual.
What it is for.
Nobody else will manage your career for you. Organizations have a great deal to offer people who know what they want and where to look, and they lose people who do not. As AI and automation change what many roles involve, knowing your own strengths and direction matters more.
Participants identify the drivers of their job satisfaction, what they are good at, and how they differ from others. They work out how to meet their values, use their strengths and follow their interests in an in-house career move, plan their career discussions, and leave with a road map.
What you leave with.
- Clarity about what you want from your career
- The knowledge and skills that will take you to the career you want
- Strategies for developing and growing your career
- A road map to get started and build momentum
Why it matters.
- Roles are being reshaped by AI and automation, and a career now has to be managed, not waited for
- Knowing your drivers and differentiators makes opportunities inside your organization visible
- A framework for the career conversation with the people who can help you
How it runs.
